FAQ’s about Subscriptions

  • Shortly after purchasing a csa or subscription, you will receive an automatic email confirming your purchase. Please be sure to make a note of your delivery/pick up dates in order to avoid confusion about when to expect your flowers.

If your selected the delivery option, please be sure to provide a safe and shaded place for us too leave your flowers in case you are not home at the time of delivery. Your flowers should arrive between 8am and 5pm on scheduled delivery days. If you have not received your flowers by 5pm on a day you were expecting them, please contact me as soon as possible at: Cristina@LocaLifeFlowers.com.

  • We understand that life can be full of the unexpected. You may cancel your CSA or subscription for a full refund up to one month prior to that month’s start date. If you need to cancel at any time after that, please contact us directly and we will work with you to determine if you are eligible for a full or partial refund.

Ideally, however, rather than cancelling, we encourage you to consider gifting your subscription to another person or organization. You may also request that individual deliveries be made available to someone else if you will not be able to receive them.

  • In general, all of our flowers are grown here on our Bonny Doon farm, which means that you will only receive the flowers blooming here within the season of your CSA share(s)/subscription.

We encourage you to explore our Seasons of Flowers Gallery to get a sense for the types of flowers we grow, and the seasons in which they bloom. In the even that we have a crop failure, or come up short on quantity, we may purchase flowers from our local flower farming friends who cultivate beauty with the same commitment to the environment that we do.

  • We cannot guarantee that every request can be fulfilled, but it never hurts to ask!

If you have a strong preference for, or against, highly fragrant flowers or if you have specific plant allergies that might be impacted by our flowers, please be sure to let us know. We will do our best to avoid those in your bouquets.

Please be aware that some common flowers are either toxic or poisonous to eat, so if you have very young children or pets who may taste the flowers, please use the utmost caution.
