A la carte wedding flowers are ideal for couples who are planning a small ceremony, want the flexibility of buying only the designs they really want, and are prepared to take care of their own on-site set up.

Because there is no minimum order, you are free to purchase as little as one item, or as many as you like; however, you will be responsible for all on site installation.

The items listed in our menu are all of the items we offer for a la carte weddings. While you are welcome to send a request for floral pieces not offered on our a la carte menu, we cannot guarantee availability of special orders until we have agreed to fulfill them in direct communication with you.

A la carte wedding flowers are not generally the best choice for those who have very strong ideas about flower varieties, or other specific details; nor are they ideal for very large ceremonies.

We are happy to provide you, upon request, with a list of talented local wedding Florists who may be available to assist you with large orders and full service wedding flowers.

If you would like to order a la carte wedding flowers from us, the first step is to contact us in order to reserve the date on which you require the flowers.

We will respond (usually within 24 hours) with confirmation that the date works for us, and with a password allowing you to access and shop directly from our wedding flower menu. (This is to prevent anyone purchasing flowers for a date we are unable to accommodate - our prices are listed in the gallery below, but you cannot purchase directly from this page.)

We request that you complete your shopping at least 6 weeks prior to the date you need the flowers. The larger the order, the more lead time we need to assure we have the flowers and supplies needed. If you are only ordering 1-2 items, you can get away with giving us much less lead time, but your experience will always be better when we have plenty of advance notice.

If there is a design you are interested in which does not appear on our availability list, feel free to include a request with your initial contact information and we will let you know if we can accommodate it.

In order to access the shoppable a la carte menu, you will need a password, which you will receive in response to your initial contact requesting the date you need flowers.

Once you have a password, simply shop the a la carte menu as you would any other online shop, remembering to give us at least 6 weeks lead time between your order and the delivery date.

Each time you put an item in your cart, a pop-up window will provide you the opportunity to give us information about the desired color palette, style, fragrances, etc. These details help us to provide you with the best a la carte wedding flower experience, so please share any requests that are important to you. (Please note that we cannot guarantee inclusion of specific flowers, but we definitely consider requests for them, so ask away!)

Do remember that we need as much lead time as possible to provide you with the best designs, and experience, possible. We request that you place your order at least 6 weeks prior to the date you require flowers - for larger orders, more is better - for tiny orders less notice may work, but you are advised to check in with us if you are shopping with less than two weeks lead time in that case.

Yes, we are happy to deliver your a la carte flowers!

You have the option to either have us deliver your flowers, or schedule a time to pick them up at our farm in Bonny Doon.

For very small orders, pick-up is usually more cost effective*; however, with larger orders, or orders with multiple vase arrangements, we strongly recommend delivery. Our delivery charges start at $25, + $2.00 per round trip mile between UCSC and the destination.

Be sure to think about when you would like to receive your flowers in relation to your ceremony. If you want to receive them more than a couple of hours prior, be sure to arrange for a cool, dimly lit storage space, and be aware that fresh flower boutonnieres and corsages require refrigeration right up until they will be used in order to look their best.

*If your order is truly tiny - a bouquet and a boutonniere, for example - and your flowers are traveling within 10 miles of UCSC, check with us directly to see if you qualify for a reduced delivery charge.
